The president should be level-headed, knowledgable about the economy and his people's needs, and a good person in general. His most difficult duty is probably dealing with strong controversies that people can't agree on, like gay marriage and marijuana legalization.

The United States needs a president that can help with any sudden problem or disaster. They should be able to act quick and with good intentions. The president must be able to make the US citizens happy with his decisions. They should be able to work with big controversies and actually make a change in their time in the office.

The president of the United States needs to know how to manage time wisely, how to deal with emergencies, and also they need to know how to keep things running smoothly with the economy. A president would need to be able to think for both sides of the economy, the rich and the poor. They would also not be able to just make rash decisions; they would need to have the capibility to throughly think through most of the decisions they make. I think the most difficult thing for the president would be to make all of the citizens in the U.S. accept the decisions he is making and also it would be extremely hard for the president to make the decisions about war, crime, and other things that go along with those terms.

America needs a president that sticks to his morals and can make a decision and go with it. Those are two qualities of a good leader, and that is exactly what our country needs. The president can't go back and forth on an idea, he or she has to choose a side and go with it. If the rest of the country is disagreeing on a subject, the president has to be able to step in and say "here's what we're going to do..." The hardest job as president would have to be juggling all his tasks and duties. We think we're busy, but I can only imagine how the President of the United States must feel. He or she has to be able to efficiently balance his or her time and prioritize everything.

To be a successful politician, one should be knowledgeable about the government and how our country operates. Also, he/she should be fair. If the politician listens to what everyone has to say he/she would be more successful. The President especially has to be ready for people to complain when he passes a bill. I think the President has many difficult duties and the combination of everything he has to do puts a lot of pressure on him. I think the toughest duty though is creating the perfect level of taxes to help our government and country run as smoothly as possible.

The President must be a man who is not afraid to show his true age, because by the end of one term, Obama looks as though he aged 10 years because of the stress. The most difficult thing someone could do as the President of the United States is dealing with foreign affairs, such as the recent attacks by Al Qaeda, and finding anyone who is responsible for such attacks. It is the primary duty of the President, as Chief of Military, to deal with things like this and to hunt down and destroy threats to America and it's allies.

In all honesty, the president of the United States of America has to make calls based on what keeps him in power with the metaphoric trailer of keeping the people happy while doing it. The president does not have to be highly educated or mild mannered. All he or she has to do is talk like they know what they are talking about. Obama was elected because of this, and, to this date, I do not believe he has answered a question directed at him without taking you for a merry-go-round ride. The chief of the military, foreign affairs, and overall decisive top dog needs to be loquacious and let the public know what is going on without a speech for an hour before he gets there. The next president needs to have a level head about him, a brain in that level head, and the motivation to get things done quickly. If the next one to step into the batter's box does not have these qualities, expect another 16 trillion dollars of your money to help kick America's proverbial can down the road

For example, President Obama may have a great idea to bring out nation out of debt, but he also needs to listen to others in his cabinet for other ideas. Honesty, time-efficiency,a high amount of energy are among the most important qualities a president should possess. Honesty is important because of the fact that everyone is almost led to believe that politics is a dirty business. When one sees a campaign ad, they do not seem believable. So of course, no one would want a liar to lead our country. Time efficiency and a high amount of energy are qualities that can be grouped into one. Our President cannot be lazy and sit back and watch our country fall apart. They need to use their time wisely to make the best decisions possible for our country. I think the president's most difficult duty right now is dealing with our economy. Because of the fact that we are so far into debt, both presidential candidates have proposed ideas to make the amount of debt we owe decrease. However, the ultimate question is whether or not those plans will actually work.

In order to be President, there are a few essential qualities that I believe one must posses. First of which I believe to be integrity because without it one may lead the nation in a way that is less than respectable, and as citizens of the United States, we need a leader that is not only worried about his image but also that of the nation's. Next, one must posses a certain degree of knowledge and intelligence about the issues and the solutions that can be implemented to solve some of the pressing national problems. Finally, I believe the president needs to be honest. As citizens, we need to know and understand what steps and measures are being taken to better our nation and our lives, and the president must be able to deliver addresses and messages with honesty even if some people will not like the whole truth. The most difficult job as President, in my opinion, is working under the scrutiny of the public eye and having everything that he does questioned and debated and often times criticized because I believe it would be hard to finish anything that is started if it is constantly being questioned and altered and criticized by other people.
